Pediatric Dentistry in Katy, TX

Gentle preventive care that builds good habits early and protects developing teeth.

Starting Off Right

The habits children form around dental visits tend to stick for life. We take our time, explain things in terms they understand, and never rush a nervous child through an appointment.

Because we're a family practice, parents and children are seen in the same office — which usually means fewer trips and a much easier schedule.

What We Provide for Children

  • Gentle cleanings and fluoride treatment
  • Low-radiation digital X-rays, only when needed
  • Sealants to protect the grooves of molars
  • Monitoring of growth, spacing and developing bite
  • Guidance on brushing, diet and habits like thumb-sucking

When Should the First Visit Be?

General guidance is around the first birthday, or within six months of the first tooth appearing. Early visits are mostly about familiarity — letting your child get comfortable with the chair, the room and the people.

Good to Know

Frequently Asked Questions

My child is nervous. How do you handle that?
Slowly, and without pressure. We explain each step before it happens, keep the first visit light, and offer nitrous oxide for older children when it's appropriate.
Do baby teeth really need fillings?
Yes. Baby teeth hold space for the adult teeth behind them, and untreated decay can cause pain, infection and alignment problems later.
Are sealants worth it?
For most children, yes. They protect the deep grooves of the back teeth where the large majority of childhood cavities form.
